Hello guys,
I really need some help here. I'm a sophomore at LIU in NY majoring in Business Management. I want to transfer either to Baruch, Rutgers or NYU. I got accepted to Baruch and Rutgers and still awaiting NYU's response.
See, I would love to go to Stern and major in Business Economics, but that whole "Stern Curve" is freaking me out. I'm afraid I won't be able to keep up a decent GPA for grad school. My goal is to get into an IVY for my MBA. Looking at HBS and Columbia.

If not NYU, should I just take advantage of the city for internships and stuff and stick to Baruch? Or is Rutgers going to set me up better?

Note: I would prefer smaller classes, getting in touch with professors for recommendations would be essential.

NYU Stern is ridiculously hard to get into. Their acceptance rate for 2011 was just under 11%. Transfer student from LIU is a long shot
I would look into Rutgers NB, they have a solid business program.

Would u recommend NYU if i get in? Isn’t that stern curve a cutoff for grad school?

And about Rutgers NB, I heard all the classes are pretty HUGE, which would be very hard for me to get in contact with the professors. And NJ isn’t compared to NY when it comes to internships right?

And could u state some of the cons of Baruch?
Sorry I have too many questions :)

As for class sizes in the courses you would be taking, it is perfectly OK for you to pick up the phone and call the departments and ask them. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Well, money wouldn’t be a problem for me, but as you mentioned, I’ll wait for the reply.
And I’ll call Rutgers tomorrow about the class size. But what about internships any ideas? Also, any ideas/experiences with Baruch?
