Considering I probably won’t get accepted to UCLA, I have 2 choices: UCSB or UCSD for my major, Economics. I REALLY wanted to go to UCSB, but I’ve heard of an extremely difficult weeder class (10A) that I have to get a B in the class, or change my major. UCSD has an equivalent, or even better Econ program but when I visited, the buildings/social life seemed incredibly dull (the environment is really important to me). I did really well in Econ 1 & 2, and I have an intense study habit, but I’m not sure if it’ll be enough. What should I do?
If you did really well in the first two Econ classes and possess an intense study habit, you should not let a weeder class known as difficult disquiet you and keep you from going to a school you really want to go to. Just do the work, and you should be fine. You’ve diligently gotten through your school prior to transfer; there should be no reason for you to be unable to take this class on.
