Should I use U of Michigan as a safe school?

34 ACT and 3.93 unweighted GPA. Is it wise to use U Mich as my safe school?

I will be taking 7 APs by senior year (Chem, Econ, Calc BC, English Lit, English Language, Bio, and World History).

Personally, I wouldn’t consider UMich as a safety.I may be wrong though :D.But that is just for me, you can see my stats here:

Also, I forgot to mention that I’m a Michigan resident.

What school district are you from in Michigan? I would consider those results capable of using UofM as being a safety school - especially if from one of the better school districts. To get the 3.93, have you already taken most of your courseload at honors or AP level? Michigan likes rigor demonstrated by a tough courseload.

I’m from the Troy School district… where a 30-32 ACT is considered average.
Currently a junior, taking ap English, ap Econ, ap Chem, organic chem, and honors precalc.
