This has nothing to do with my post and my business is really none of yours. You do not know what I have saved, how much I will be working during school or how much FA ill get. Im not interested in continuing this OT convo about my finances k thanks!

I don’t know how much FA you will get, but I can make an educated guess. NYU is notorious for offering horrible financial aid. They do not meet need or generally even come close to meeting need. You cannot rely on getting any significant institutional aid from them.

You asked about NYU, you’re going to get answers about NYU. If you don’t want answers you don’t like, don’t post your question on a public Internet forum.

Polarscribe is giving you great advice. There is NO point of taking out hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of loans to go to expensive universities. If you have rich parents, then go for it

polarscribe–I asked if I should wait to transfer or not. I did not ask to hire a financial advisor.

bottlecap-I didnt say I was willing to take out hundreds of thousands of dollars. What he is not understanding is that the price of NYU is not a reach for me, and what I am explaining to you is that if I went I wouldnt need to take our hundreds of thousands of dollars in loans. I wouldnt go if it would cost me that much.
