Should I worry? Mid-Year grades.

I was in my school's guidance office today and saw a letter Udel sent to my guidance counselor. It asked for the mid-year grades for 4 or 5 kids from my school. In my schools case, mid-year grades mean second trimester out of 3 trimesters.

I saw my name on the list and I am a little unsure about whether I will get in or not. About 20 or so kids applied from my school and I am not sure if they weeded those kids out already and am not sure about me and four others.

The first trimester grades Udel saw were very strong and I received a 4.3 gpa.

I believe I will have the same 4.3 second trimester, but I went from an A+ to a B in Economics. My gpa was held up by higher grades in other classes.

Should I view this as good or bad? I wasn't supposed to see this letter as it is. I am very confused now.

Don't worry about it - just send the grades and wait. That is all you can do.

I think they want to see your grades because you are a great candidate. Most colleges want mid-year grades - and final grades. It is a good sign. How do you compare to all the students that applied? That should give you an idea. Good luck!

Oh my gosh, i got a phone call asking for mid year grades. I was pretty freaked out, but don't worry.. just think of it as--if they didn't want to accept you, they'd never be interested in seeing current grades! good luck!
