Should I worry? Senior Year Grades!

Hey CC community, just wanted to ask a quick question.

I'm applying to all liberal arts schools (Middlebury, Wesleyan, Reed, etc...) and just wanted to know what if I did any damage in applying due to my senior year grades.

I'm taking 7 classes and got 3 B's in AP Gov, AP Physics C: Mechanics, and AP Calculus BC, and wanted to know if this will affect acceptance to a school or not.

Thanks!

Are mid-year grades a factor in decisions? Yes.

Will they make a difference between whether you’re accepted, denied, WLed? Nobody knows.

I can’t imagine why you’d worry about the grades you got. What in the world will worrying do?!

It won’t be a factor unless you were borderline to begin with. And if you don’t get in, there are a million reasons besides the grades that you didn’t. Even if you had a 4.0, those factors could have knocked you out.

Your application is what it is - it’s time to just let it go and see what happens. Just based on the ED round, I already know there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to who gets in among qualified applicants, unless you are a recruited athlete, and then it really doesn’t make sense, because grades and test scores simply don’t count as much as your ability to handle a ball.
