I've noticed that most essays and tips say that the personal statement 1 for UC's (Describe the world you come from) are stories that focus on 1 specific experience. Is it the best to be that way? is it okay for it to not be that way? I don't really have 1 major specific experience, but rather me describing in my own words what my world is like (not a story/experience). I have two short examples in it, but its not one large experience. Should I change it or is it okay to not write a story?

You know, that’s actually a very interesting point. All of the prompts do seem to lead to the same endgame of writing about one central story, but I think it might work if you centred it around one very general theme. For example something like “Perseverance has been central to my development as an individual, and I have had to demonstrate it on many occasions. When I [generic story bla bla bla] it really helped me to [moral/character building lesson bla bla bla]”

Because you’re right. I don’t think the essay should necessarily have to revolve around one single incident or experience.

It’s good to have examples but it doesn’t have to be a story.

You don’t need major example. It’s how you write. Mine wrote about her experience in hair saloon.
