Should you say hi

to people who you don't like? people who make you mad?

why or why not?

There's no logical reason not to. Saying 'hi' will only foster goodwill between you and everybody else.

It depends...
Situations

A. You don't like them, but they don't know
- yes, say hi
B. You don't like them, and they do know
- don't say hi
C. You don't get along with them and they don't get along with you
- don't say hi

come on, just say hi, its common courtesy...

a random quotation (don't remember who said it though!):

"Always forgive your enemies, nothing annoys them so much."

"Always forgive your enemies."

True, but you don't want to seem like a brownosing wuss to your enemies.

by saying hi?

^^ Oscar Wilde

But, I have solved that problem ... I just don't say hi to anyone ....

i say hi to everyone i know regardless of whether i like/dislike them or whether they like/dislike me

i'm also weird because every time people accidentally bump into me, i say "Sorry." even when it is so obviously their fault (ex: if they are pushing me out of the way to get out of the bus or something=i'll say "i'm sorry"). its so weird. maybe this means that i'm afraid of people.... lol

Nah you aren't afraid of people, I do the same thing. Nothing wrong with just seeming or being nice. It doesn't hurt you, it doesn't hurt other people. And vtoodler, who gives a **** if people you don't like think you are a wuss. You really shouldn't care what anybody thinks about you if they aren't your friends.
