Hey guys, I'm really interested in applying to Wash U, prerobably going to ED here. I know they really emphasize "showing interest", but I'm afraid I really don't come off well during interviews. What alternative ways are there of really showing them you want to be there?
I've heard visiting campus (Done), attending local information sessions and getting to know the admissions rep, emailing them, and applying for scholarships (does this actually help?). Any other ways?

A visit should be fine. You’re good.

ED is the ultimate show of demonstrated interest. The school is/must be your first, last and only love. Otherwise, why ED?

That’s a relief, thanks for the responses. I’m still curious about the applying to scholarships question, do adcoms really care if you apply for a scholarship?

Probably not I’d your applying ED. If RD then slightly, although I’m sure most accepted didn’t bother.
