I'll be applying to WashU next year, and I've read a lot about how they like to "see interest", especially from high-scoring students who will be applying to many ivies as well. My question is, beyond visiting, what are other ways to "show interest", both during the admissions process and beforehand? Also, since I probably will be visiting, is there anything specific I should do while there (besides interviewing) which would show my interest even more? I honestly think the school sounds like it could be a good fit for me (though ED is taking it a little too far), so I want to know any ways possible to prove that. Thanks!

Write a compelling Why WashU spiel/paragraph/essay (200-400 words) about why WashU, SPECIFICALLY, is the school you want to attend. Use specifics, talk about programs and how they match up to your interests. They'll know if you're being legit.
