I know that showing interest for WashU is incredibly important, but I haven't the time nor money to visit/have an on-campus interview. Does applying for scholarships (Danforth, Engineering) count as showing interest? Also, for alumni interviews, do they contact you after you submit the Pre-Application Sheet or do you have to contact them?

Thanks

going to an information meeting or having an interview is fine for showing interest.

I don't know for sure, but I think the interest they're looking for is the campus visit and interview. Scholarships might count, but I don't know. Visiting the regional information meeting would count. I have no idea about the alumni interview thing.

If I attended the information meeting last year (junior year), would they still have that on file (or whatever they do)?

i believe that is still on file...
