As a new student who will be needing the shuttle service, I was looking up the maps and I was completely confused. I live on Wickersham Ln in the Riverside area and wanted to know if bus stop stations were labeled as to where they go?

For example, do students hop on one shuttle and take another to get to class or do they just walk where they need to go? And if I need to get to the University Co-Op store what shuttle do I take?

If you want to know about UT shuttles then go to UT transportation’s site. <a href=“Shuttles | Parking & Transportation”>Shuttles | Parking & Transportation; The UT shuttles take you right to campus and then you get off and walk to class after that. Usually there are signs at bus stops that list the buses that stop there so you’ll just have to look around until you find one that says the right bus.

Also, if you wanted to take the city bus to campus: Go to [Capital Metro Transit - Austin, Texas](http://www.capmetro.org/) and put in your address and then the address of a building near campus. It will tell you the locations of the stops and the times and whatnot for the city buses and the bus number. I am not exactly sure where you live but make sure the bus is headed north if you are going to campus and not south. Sounds stupid but that’s where my friends and I made mistakes our first times riding the bus.

If you’re on wikersham, then you’d want to take the Wikersham Lane bus. I believe it drops of right next to the art building. Then you could either walk to where you wanted to go, or wait for the FA bus to come around. It all depends on where you’re trying to get and the timing of the buses as to which is faster. Plus, I think that the art building stop for the FA bus is a rest stop for the driver… it never fails that once the bus pulls up and everyone loads on, the driver sits there reading/eating/talking on phone for another 5 minutes.
