So I heard there are shuttles that take students from classes to classes. Where can i find more info?

Also, how do most students go around outside of campus? I know there is the metro system but is it good? Where do you find the routes for the metros? Are most students familiar with the metro system?

Yeah, there is a Forty Acres shuttle that basically goes from one end of campus to the other, but I feel like unless you are really lazy, you should just walk. The bus is usually way overcrowded anyway.

If your destination is within 5 blocks or so from campus, just walk. Other than that, Capital Metro has a pretty good bus system that will take you wherever you need to go. Rides are free with your student ID. I don’t take the bus often, but I do use it occasionally to go to the grocery store and to concert venues downtown.
What is the easiest way to get to Round Rock using public transportation?

There is no public transportation to Round Rock. The closest you can get to Round Rock is to take a bus to Tech Ridge Park & Ride or to take a train from MLK Jr. Station up to Howard Station (you’ll have to take the bus to the train station first though). Public transportation to Round Rock is being discussed among city governments right now and someday in the future, there will be a bus and train that goes to Round Rock. You’ll just have to meet with someone at either one of those places and have them pick you up and take you to Round Rock.
