We are heading to Chapel Hill with S for the last CTOPS . His younger brother (15) will be with us. I know they have a full schedule for us parents but we were wondering if they have any programming for our younger S.

Thanks

They've a free visit to the Morehead planetarium for parents. My younger sister went to mine and that was the only thing she liked, she was bored most of the time.

We went to a July CTOPS and were fervently glad we did not have DD2 (14) with us. I'm not try to scare you, but CTOPS consists of a lot of long speeches accompanied by fascinating (smothered grin) Power Point presentations. If you are coming with a spouse, maybe you can take turns at the speeches and one of you can walk DS2 around the campus and up and down Franklin Street. He should definitely bring a backpack with books, an ipod, gameboy (on silent) or whatever will keep him still and quiet during those sessions he must attend. He might enjoy some of the skits and the planetarium show. Good Luck!!!
