Siemens Westinghouse

From reading the Class of 2010 Stats thread, it seems that Harvard has a bias against Siemens winners?

I'm only a semifinalist, but I'm curious as to how many Siemens semifinalists apply EA to Harvard per year.

a lot (10 char)

I know there isn't an official number, but does anyone have a guess as to approximately what percentage of those semifinalists get in?

I think someone said last year that there was a 50% admit rate for Siemens finalists (but there are only 30 of them)

Look at old posts from Guitarmanars...he had some of last years stats. He was a top finalist (also top 10 Intel/STS and Davidson Fellow) who did not get into Harvard, but seems to be quite happy at Yale.

Yeah, there aren't many kids who have awards comparable to Siemens national finalist. Clearly, there is no such thing as a guarantee for Harvard.
