Sign up for Classes?

<p>Hi, I am attending the late summer semester at Tech. When should I sign up for classes? Which classes should I take? I think they limit classes to just 6 credit. I'm thinking about using this oppurtunity to get some of the "required" classes out of the way. But beside from Lit and the social science class, what other subject is required?</p>

<p>depends on your major. I know CS 1371 is also available if you are any sort of engineering.</p>

  1. Go to oscar.gatech.edu
  2. Click on “Secured Access Login (Id & PIN required)”
  3. Enter GTID and Pin
  4. Click on “Student Services and Financial Aid” tab
  5. Click on Registration</p>

<p>If you click on “Registration Status” then put in Summer 2011, you’ll see the time and date when your registration opens and closes. It should be June 24-28, but still check. In that time window, follow Steps 1-5 then click “Add or Drop Classes” or “Look up Classes”. You can register from there.</p>

<p>What is your major? I recommend taking a Math requirement (either Calc for engineering/science or Survey of Calc for non-technical majors) and then add in a legislative requirement, like English 1 or 2 or the government requirement.</p>

<p>No. I plan on using the summer semester to get stuff out of the way and get a head start for the fall. Also thank you for answering my post, there’s not a lot of help on the student website so this is really helpful to me.</p>
