I was listed on this, and I did have a late interview. However, I was denied. I’m not sure if there is much of a significance. At least not in my case, apparently. But I really think it was my test scores that blew it for me. Maybe they were considering me, but decided against it because of those. Who knows. shrugs

Three interviews. Accepted.

Congrats to your D smoda!

1 interview. Accepted.

lastopforme - thanks and congrats to you

In_technicolor - I an sorry that the results were not as you hoped. You were listed on a thread (trying to remember which) that being contacted at the last minute for your interview. Frequently, there has been debate if there was any significance. I was hoping this thread my help future CCers to have more information on this topic then we did this year. Thanks for posting your results.

I’m breaking the trend – 2 interviews; rejected. Neither one went badly, neither one went excellently. Interestingly, I thought my Princeton interview was the worst and I got in there.

It is worth noting, however, that Harvard took essentially no one from my school RD, and normally they take more than five. Something was weird this year, just a disclaimer.

2 alumni interviews, accepted.

Rejected after an interview in the first week of March… I thought it went well, but I’m not naive enough to think that nothing more goes into a decision than just the interview.

son had two interviews; second on campus in mid March-he liked both of them and thought they went well-he was waitlisted.

I had two alumni interviews, and was subsequently Accepted as an international.

The second happened around the 22nd of March. I was in a godforsaken corner of the world and the interviewer tracked me down through 3 continents and 7 timezones. Guess the adcom really takes its job seriously.

I had heard that the 2nd interview only occurs when there is a discrepancy between the first and second?

son was accepted off the waitlist-he had the second interview on campus (we live an hour away)
