Significant hook, waste of time or in-between?

<p>Hi all...</p>

<p>my most eminent hobby throughout high school has been web development. i've managed to launch a few rather intricate sites. unfortunately, none of them have managed to take off as much as i had hoped. this has been a major blow with my last lanuch, WhatsTheVibe.com as I had spent almost a year doing some heavy programming on it, and I still consider the idea rather innovative.</p>

<p>as far as my college EC's go, aside from science research/music, this is pretty much everything i have as far as major time commitments go. will it be looked upon negetively that WhatsTheVibe has no major traffic/income to show for all the hard work i've put in it?</p>

<p>Send them a link to your website or send it on a cd with each application so they can look at it and see how impressive it is...it.s like your portfolio...</p>
