What information do students need to have readily available when signing up for housing? For instance, do they need to have a preference list of dorms? other information? Any help is much appreciated.

I’ve heard you need a preference list of 5 dorms. Does anyone know FOR SURE what time housing opens on wednesday?

You’ll need to have a list of dorms that you would like but you can change this list for months, usually until May 1, so if you’re concerned about completing the application and are stumped, just pick random dorms and then change them later.
If you signed on for housing, I don’t think there was any opportunity to identify a dorm. All you get is a priority number, which for us is 1779. Does anyone know if that’s low, high or indifferent?
@MzJCricket The housing options do not open until Feb. 18th. That is when you choose where you’d like to stay and can change your preferences up until May 1st. Although having a preference list now doesn’t hurt. 
Depends on what building you’re looking at. There’s a decent chance it won’t get one of the buildings opening in the fall, but if Wildwood is the #3 pick a priority number it would practically guarantee either that building or one of the brand new ones.
