<p>Simply stated, using more than one book to review/prepare for anything offers:</p>

<p>1) More practice</p>

<p>2) A fresh perspective. If one book didn’t explain a concept clearly, having another book may help.</p>

<p>3) Another chance for you to glean information that you may have missed in other books. Different books emphasize different things. This is especially true with history. A second book may dedicate more attention to event X in history than another book.</p>

<p>4) More practice. As one FBI agent said, “We’d prefer that you made no mistakes, but if you have to make a mistake, make it in the shooting range.” </p>

<p>If I’m going to make an mistake on a SAT problem, I’d much rather make the mistake while practicing than on the real exam.</p>

<p>Eliza, what’s so hard to understand? “You should not limit yourself to one source” meaning that you should study from more than one source. One source may provide different and possibly more beneficial information from than another source.</p>

<p>I found the guide extremely helpful. And it wasn’t just because of the different question types he tackled in it, but also the information he gave for the SAT, and preparation for the SAT. I even found inspiration in some of those facts that he stated. Over all it was a job very well done.</p>

<p>If I were to suggest anything it would be for to make more guides (preferably for each section individually). I’m sure a lot of people would benefit from you sharing more of your skills in terms of question solving.</p>

<p>Thanks for the link to the pdf. I am so discouraged about my SATs but will probably re-take this spring. I took the November test and my scores were a lot lower than I was hoping. Maybe I’m one of those people who does better on the ACT? Hope so!</p>
