I have 2 days till my PSAT, and my writing score sucks. I have heard some great things about Silverturtle's guide, so would it be in my best interest to read though all of silverturtles guide ONLY THE WRITING SECTION?? Thanks for your advice...and if you could include some personal stories of the score you achieved before and after reading his guide...I would really appreciate it.

I posted on your other thread about how I increased my writing score.

This was before I saw your post…my bad…but anyways I would love to hear from everyone else! :)

I think it would be beneficial to read through in order to get a good idea of the types of questions that will appear on the test. At this point though, it’ll be too tough trying to cram everything in. Try picking a few concepts that you’re unfamiliar with, because you definitely don’t want to overwhelm yourself on the night before the test.

I just read it for the first time yesterday. It only took 1.5 hours - 2 hours to read. From reading the guide, I found a couple more writing questions that I would have gotten wrong had I not read the guide. This is coming from a 68 PSAT to a 74 PSAT overnight.

^Did you print out the entire writing part of the guide, or did you just read it online??

I printed mine out. It was a total of 37 pages without the test questions. Silverturtle gives pretty eccentric examples so you’ll actually remember them.

yes sure ok
