I just visited clemson this weekend and absolutely loved it! The campus and the people were incredibly welcoming. Are there any schools similar to clemson that I should also check out, but with a better business school possibly? My ACT is a 29.

Auburn, Florida State, LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Virginia Tech all strike me as pretty similar to Clemson although I have no idea about their business programs.
Any huge, southern football palace should fit the bill.
University of South Carolina has a good business school especially Int’l Business. Campus is more urban though.

One less obvious candidate is James Madison University. It’s not exceptionally well known outside VA but is a large school, over 19k undergrads. In-state, it most often competes with Va. Tech (also one I’d recommend) and is very popular with Northern Virginia high school students. As a result, it has competitive admissions and lots of strong students with high stats, etc. Harrisonburg is a nice town and the surrounding mountains are beautiful. I think students love it as much as any school I know. It is less southern than Clemson, which might be a plus or minus for you. The business school is very strong, and its graduates do very well, particularly in the DC area. It has an entrepreneurial focus.
