<p>So I'm going to be an incoming freshman and I wanted to get a roommate but I got put in a hall with all single rooms. Will it be harder to get to know people? And does anyone have experience being in a single dorm?</p>
<p>If everybody is in a single room, you’re all in the same boat. You’ll get to know each other. Besides, there are other ways to meet people, in clubs or in classes. Chill!</p>
<p>Is there a way to get a triple dorm if they gave a double? It costs about a thousands dollars more so I need some help.</p>
<p>I would try emailing the housing office at uci. I emailed them about my questions and they usually answer the next day.</p>
