I applied to the STEP program. As soon as I finished the application it said that my SIR had been received. I didn’t pay the $100? I’m slightly confused does even applying for STEP cancel out the fee or something???Oh also when I click on the request for housing application thing it says that “we are unable to determine your status as a student”??? But my admissions page has changed since I apparently submitted my SIR(still don’t get that part) and I got a conformation email and everything.Any ideas??

Did you check the previous thread?

I had the same thing. It’s only because you were admitted with the EOP program. You just got a fee waiver.

STEP is only for EOP people.

Housing application didn’t start yet. They will around mid-may.

Please, just read everything on your myadmission page… you’ll see all the information you need. Plus, create your ucdavis.edu email adress!

Hoped this help.

Oh okay…I didn’t know I was EOP? Never seen anything about it besides what people have said on the threads. Also before I signed up for STEP I was actually entering the credit card information for the SIR fee but I got sidetracked, that’s the main reason why I was confused when the fee was all of a sudden gone. But okay thanks XD

Edit Now that I have looked into it more apparently I had to be EOP in order to register for STEP and through that BUSP…at least that’s what it seems like from all the pages. *

You’re welcome :]

My daughter is not EOP but was still invited to apply for STEP and BUSP.

really? i thought it was only for EOP’s. nevermind haha.

what is BUSP?

[UC Davis: BUSP](http://www.busp.ucdavis.edu/curriculum.aspx) - It is the Biology Undergraduate Scholars Program. It says something somewhere that it is for EOP also. My daughter is a bio major. She is being asked to apply because she is an under-represented minority, but not EOP.
