Sir

I submitted my SIR but wasn't asked to pay the $100? Where do I pay it?

What do you mean u weren’t asked to pay it? I paid the 100 bucks online with an E-Check, maybe you should call them and ask

Hey, can anyone else here explicate a bit? I also submitted my sir and on trition link, checklist, it says that they have received it, but i was never asked to send 100 dollars…Anyone wanna help out here?

@mayraaf: So what happened? What r u gonna end up doing?

Are you guys low income and have the fee waived? Otherwise, no idea.

If I am low income, I wasn’t aware of it. I’m going to call the admission office to verity.

Well seeing that I already submitted the SIR in addition to the extra documents they needed from me, maybe I am low-income.

Did they ask you to send them extra info? Just wondering if they just ask people randomly to send info to make sure some aren’t lying.

If your EFC was pretty low, then you should be low income. I’m not sure if it can be waived, I tried searching and didn’t find anything official.

Yes, they did ask for verification by sending a copy of my parent’s income taxes. I was just a bit confused since I wasn’t asked to pay.

Same thing happened to me last year. I am low income so thats why. if you dont have to pay its all good

Hey, sorry to bump this thread, but I just SIR’ed to UCSD and was not asked to pay anywhere during the process. Although it does say this on the checklist:
"Billing Statement
You may have used E-Check to pay your Statement of Intent to Register. E-Check is a convenient way to pay your future bills as well. All students are automatically enrolled in E-Bill and you can check your UC San Diego e-mail for your billing statement notification.

In addition, you may want to register your parents to receive E-Bill notices and give them access to your billing account and E-Check. To find out more, please read this."

Does this mean it has been payed for already? Sorry, I am confused…

Usually when u qualify to EOP and u applied on your uc application you wont need to pay at the time of sending the SIR. The fee will show later on but they do that so your financial aid could cover it. Since they havent give you any financial aid, they postpone the payment until you get it. That’s what i have been told. At the end you end up paying it but it might be paid by your financial aid.

I’m new to CC so I just wanted to know what SIR stands for?
