Six APs as a senior?

This is what my schedule would be:

AP Literature
AP Statistics
AP Chemistry
AP Spanish
AP Art History
AP Comparative Government (only 1 semester)
Econ (required)

I have already taken AP Physics C Mechanics and AP Psychology my sophomore year. As a junior, I have taken AP Calculus BC, AP Biology, AP Computer Science A, and AP English Lang. In all of these classes, I have done fairly well and have gotten A s in all of them. I know that some of the APs I have for senior year are considered intense, but I am really interested in those subjects (comp gov, art history, Chem). The rest are the natural course progressions for that core subject. Is this too much?

Go for it. That isn’t the worst schedule I’ve seen. Chemistry will require a lot of work, and I would start memorizing the required artworks for Art History as soon as possible (I learned my lesson). But if you aren’t planning on going for a competitive school or aiming to exempt any of these classes in College, then I would recommend taking off whatever classes have nothing to do with your major and instead enjoy your Senior year.

I would suggest taking Honors English instead of AP Lit.
Note that AP Stats is NOT the “natural progression” after Calc BC. The natural progression is either or both of Multivariable Calculus and/or Linear Algebra. AP Stats is an “AP Lite”, for students who are strong in other areas than math and want to challenge themselves with an AP although calculus would be too hard, or a class for students who haven’t taken AP’s and want to have an introduction. However, taking even Honors English and Econ + all other AP’s + MV/Linear Algebra would be total overkill.
Think about how many hours a night you slept last year: was it 8? 7? 9? Anything below 8 is detrimental, and anything below 7 is a health hazard for teenagers.
If you managed 4 Ap’s and slept 8-9 hours a night, I’d say a good, well-balanced schedule would be
Honors English
(nothing: work on college apps)/ Linear Algebra or Discrete Math or MV at a local CC (second semester only, after you’re done with apps)
AP Chemistry
AP Spanish
AP Art History
AP Comparative Government (only 1 semester)
Econ (required)

That would make 4 Ap’s (or equivalent) per semester, and would leave you some time to work on college apps without compromising rigor.

Agree… Kill AP Lit. You already took AP Lang. How much DID you sleep last year with 4 APs?

hey , u dont actually have to answer it ,but are u from dougherty valley high school
