SJSU Chances?

CSU GPA: 3.87

1st SAT: 1060
2nd SAT: 1060
3rd SAT: 1070

1st ACT: 23
2nd ACT: 20

Based on these stats, would I have a chance at being accepted to SJSU for computer engineering for the Fall of 2018. SJSU would be my first choice because it is relatively close to where I live and I hear that their engineering program is very good.
My CSU Eligibility Index: 4166
Their CE Minimum Eligibility Index is 4100 for the fall of 2017

Also, I retook the ACT this October but my score went down by 3 points :(. Would this have any negative affect on my chances at getting admitted? I did send it to SJSU.

SJSU like all the CSU’s will superscore your SAT/ACT so you are fine. Since your EI is above the EI threshold from last year, you stand a good chance at an acceptance but much will depend upon how competitive this year’s Freshman applicants will be and the EI’s can fluctuate from year to year.
