Yes, they mean starting the week of Feb 22nd. He posted this on Saturday (last week).
Ahh, you were quoting an SJSU tweet made last week. Got it.
I thought it was your own post, made today, referencing “next week.” Thanks for the update.
Many of the CSU’s will give you a provisional admission based on the information submitted on the CSU application. Then they will ask for more documentation if needed. Every campus is different, but you can email admissions to confirm.
I actually, other than my biographical details, didnt input any of my grades and such on the CSU portal. As an intl applicant, it didn’t let me so for cal poly and such, I submitted official mailed transcripts. I assumed SJSU would ask me for the same since they have nothing to evaluate me on academically, but they just said, when I emailed them, they’ll let me know when the need it. Seems very last minute since decisions are already rolling out
As stated above, each CSU handles their applications differently so you have the email for confirmation if any issues arise. Best of luck.
If it’s any consolation, @anxiouscollegestuden, my son - a homeschooled kid with non-traditional academics - was denied, saying he didn’t meet the basic qualifications because they weren’t giving him “credit,” so to speak for any of his homeschooled classes. I shouldn’t say he was denied…it was something like they withdrew his application. We’ve had to appeal. My point is, I would guess they at least haven’t just thrown you out of the running, because they probably would’ve done that by now. I’m not saying you’ll get in, but chances are you’ve passed their first pass. For what it’s worth…
And she is in! Update in her portal Conditional Admit-Self Report. In other words, she will need to prove her grades with a transcript. WOOT! Three down, two more schools to go.
I read somewhere that you only need to submit official scores like SAT, AP, etc. to ONE CSU and the information will be shared with all of them.
Maybe it is the same for transcripts and they already have the info because you sent it into Cal Poly?
My Daughter just got in as conditional as well! What does this really mean? Just submit final transcripts when available?
Conditional (provisional) Admit- Self Report
You have been conditionally admitted based on the self-reported information that you provided in your application. Conditional admission is subject to final verification of final transcripts. You must also complete all of the Terms and Conditions of your admission by meeting the intent to enroll deadline, submitting documents and meeting final admission and impaction requirements.
Congrats to your daughter!
Yes - It just means that the self-reported info will need to be verified by the final official transcript.
Congrats to you too!
Conditional Admit-Self Report
