How do we see which major we were accepted for?

Accepted!! In State, 3.0 GPA, No SAT/ACT.

Edit:I never calculated my CSU GPA, so that number may be off. My school makes us take the basic courses to get into CSUs.

Check your messages in your portal, it has the acceptance letter, and will say if you were accepted into your primary major.

Oh! I didn’t check. I got admitted to anthropology, my first choice, but also a notoriously easy major to get into to. : )

I was hoping my GPA would be a good beacon of hope for those still waiting on a decision. : ) Don’t worry too much, they’ll be releasing more decisions soon. Best of luck to you!

Congrats to those accepted. Is anyone a Business major?

Unfortunately, not business, however, any pre-nursing majors? My eligibility index is 3016, which is 16 points above the threshold, so I hope I’m able to earn a spot. Just wished they were able to send out decisions all at once

I’m sorry to hear that. I hope what you say is true. It all just so not transparent with intl applicants and it’s kind of aggravating. I’m seeing decisions on this forum while they probably even havent looked at my appl…or even if they have, there is nothing to judge me on. I’m worried theyll fill up all the spots for my major and then be like oops we didn’t see this app, and didnt get into but now the seats are full and just reject me despite me submitting my app in the beginning of November :grimacing: it’s not my fault that CSU portal doesn’t let intl applicants enter their grades
Sigh just have to wait and see I guess

Hmm perhaps, but both CAL POLY SLO and SDSU asked me for transcripts so I don’t think it works like that. WeI’ll just have to see ig

i’m sorry i know how stressful it can be! hoping for the best for you, i understand i have a pretty low 10-11 gpa and i really need to get into one of these schools so i can move back to my hometown. i’ve heard that they can be really understanding if you describe your special circumstances for low grades in the past and show improvement (which i have, my 12th grade gpa so far is 4.5) but i’m still really worried they will only look at my 10-11 gpa and skip over me too. hopefully they will look into both of our applications further and we can get in

I got in for Molecular Biology! I technically got in yesterday but I just checked my portal. I only had a 3.54 GPA so I have faith in all of you guys! Best of luck

I believe I got in for pre-nursing but I’m planning on switching into business. I can’t remember which I applied for because it was so long ago haha.

Ohh nice, what was your CSU gpa?

Undeclared pre-nursing had a threshold of 3000, equivalent to a 3.75 CSU-recalculated GPA for an applicant with no bonus points (local area, fee waiver eligibility, military status, first generation to college).

My son accepted for CS - CSU GPA: 4.33
