SJSU or UCR for business admin?

Need help deciding between these 2. Help me with pros and cons?

they are both good academically so, pick the one you like most. I would say, if you know you want to live in the Bay Area after you graduate, SJ is probably a better choice, You have easier access to Silicon Valley internships and develop a local network you can rely on later. The same is true of UCR and So Cal. If you are undecided about your post college life… a coin-flip will yield a good result.
Congrats and good luck

@NCalRent , @Gumbymom , and anyone else who has input to share
If these 2 schools are on a similar level academically, then are there other reasons why I should pay more for ucr? Trying to find good pros and cons to decide between these schools. Thanks!

@Pointermix: It really depends upon which area of Business you want to focus on and as stated above by @NCalRent which area Northern or Southern California would you like to work.

Also for UCR you are admitted as a Pre-Major so you need to take the pre-req courses with passing grades and GPA to declare the major.

If costs are an issue, then SJSU makes more sense.

i havent priced it recently but, my guess is that some of the tuition savings you will see at SJSU will be offset by higher rent. There isn’t a wrong answer here

Great input. Thanks.
This is for my D actually. But we both have similar feelings about the schools and can’t decide.
She may be able to get the CalVet waiver in a year or 2, so that would help with costs.
There’s just no clear “winner”, so to speak.

Also considering Fullerton. Those are the top 3.

If your D wants the true college experience, then UCR would be a better option if you think the extra costs are worth it. Although UCR does have it share of commuters, it will be far less than at CSU Fullerton and San Jose State. All good options and remember this decision is for 4 years.
