Hey, my question is regarding what courses to include when calculating the CSU gpa.

I know you are supposed to include only a-g required courses taken in 10th and 11th grade, however, courses like symphonic band and summer courses taken at district summer school confuse me. I have participated in band for all of high school, so do I count the grades I got in it in 10th/11th in my gpa (it is listed on my school's a-g course list under "f") or not at all? As for courses taken at summer school (not at a community college), I took them at a district offered summer school program for avid/band/struggling kids to take. I took US and World History (between 9th and 10th for World and 10th and 11th for US), so are these included when I calculate my gpa, or do I leave them out?

Here are my courses I presume I include in my csu gpa that I took. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Summer before 10th: World History 1 & 2

Sophomore: H Pre Calc 1 & 2, H Chem 1 & 2, High School English 3 & 4, German 3 & 4,
Concert Band 1 & 2

Summer Before 11th: US History 1st Semester only

Junior: AP Calc AB, AP Physics C, American Lit 1 & 2, German 5 & 6, US History 2nd semester, Concert band 1 & 2 (technically the same class as freshman and sophomore year)

Thanks!
