<p>Both wonderful schools! However, can any one speak to power of degree from either one outside of Mid Atlantic region? Is either one better known than the other?</p>
<p>There are a lot of international students who went to Skidmore on the Open House day that I attended.</p>

<p>personally, i feel that skidmore has a much better reputation than franklin and marshall, or at least it's much more well-known. also, the latter has horrible, horrible dorms. good food, though.</p>
<p>I think the most important thing in picking between those two schools is which one you like better. There is just not enough difference in terms of reputation.</p>
