<p>Hey, well first off I slacked during freshman year of high school; I had around a 3.0 GPA. I'm currently a sophomore and i have a 3.8 GPA now and am lined up for 5 AP classes junior year, I also have started up a charity foundation and have donated over $20,000 from my foundations revenue to the Bill & Melinda gates foundation. I was very naive my freshman year and didn't really study or anything; so is it possible to get in to an exceptional school such as Wharton, Harvard, Stanford, etc with a pretty mediocre freshmen year?</p>
<p>since ur situation is pretty unique i think u have a great shot at say dartmouth, cornell, but remember the cream of the crop apply to all these schools and there is not enough spots for all. definitely apply to some of them though.</p>

<p>I would say definitely good chance at cornell and dartmouth. Harvard yale columbia princeton will be harder. Penn possible. Good luck!</p>
