slacking off if you've been accepted?

Does anyone know how low your grades can drop before the ED/EA college you applied to takes away your acceptance? I’m asking in regards to Columbia.

As long as you don't fail any classes, they are legally obligated to take you no matter how bad you do the last semester of high school, once you have been accepted.

You worked this hard to get into college, just work a little more, what's the harm? :)

Colleges reserve the right to withdraw your admission if you do not maintain the standards upon which the decision to admit was made (and they can legally do that withdrawal). Slacking thus creates a risk that you should try to avoid. Nevertheless, withdrawals are usually reserved for those who have significant grade drops. Getting D's or F's can be a serious problem, getting several C's can be at colleges that usually take mostly A students. Staying in the B range usually leaves you fairly safe, but again you should not take the gamble.

That is not true. But if you want to slack off just because you got in, maybe it's a wrong college for you anyway.
