Slightly incorrect information on resume

Hey guys,

Looking through my school’s past accomplishments, I realized I put the wrong year for one of my extracurricular scholastic accomplishments. I put that my school won 1st place in 2011 when it was really 2010. Should I email my schools to correct this mistake or will it not be a big deal?

I would email the schools to set the record straight. If they start checking and find you didn’t win first place they may not figure out the year difference. If they know the error, then no big deal.
