<p>are there any slopes for snowboarding and are they any good?</p>

<p>no, i am not basing my decision off this. UNC is still my #1 that i want to get into and have already applied early to.</p>

<p>How close are you talking about? I mean, there are no slopes in Chapel Hill or the surrounding area, but you could certainly go to the mountains of nc, va, or w va for a weekend trip or something like that.</p>
