I know this might sound like an average Smith school admittance question, but this one actually differs quite a bit.

My current position:
-Second semester sophomore with a 3.13 GPA, looking at a 3.48 GPA at the end of this semester
-Looking at an A in my Accounting I class, Business Statistics, and Econ 200 class.
-Applying in while in process of taking Accounting II and Econ201 with a 3.52 (next semester)
-Extracurricular: Resident Assistant, Community Assistant, represented my school in a conference of over 40+ residence hall associations, and serve as the local Vice President of Finance and Development at my branch of Residence Hall Assocation
-the problem: my first semester was out of UMD:CP and my GPA there is horrid. While this isnt calculated into my GPA at CP, it will be during my application. The classes I did poorly in there were engineering based. Also, last semester I dropped my Calc2 and Physics course as I decided engineering was not for me. As a result I have 2 W's on my transcript.

My question is- for those who have experience with the smith school, how are my prospects looking? This is really my biggest passion at the moment and I would love to hear any advice you may have
