@collegehalo Don’t worry too much about my stats, I’m at the higher end of applicants and knew I was going to get in from the start. If you want some comfort, a couple of my classmates with ~3.3 GPAs and ~1200 SATs were also admitted, but they didn’t get any money though. Good luck!

I got the dean’s scholarship and another business school scholarship, was also named BBA scholar, so over half tuition plus early business school admission… not really interested in going though
When did you get notified of the BBA Scholar? did it come at the same time as Dean’s notification?
no, deans was in the acceptance letter and the BBA along with second scholarship was in a separate email maybe a week after initial acceptance. Also came in my admissions packet
To anyone who is concerned about the PS scholarship - I’m currently a PS freshman at SMU right now. I applied RD last year and didn’t get my finalist invitation until the beginning of February, so I wouldn’t freak out if you haven’t gotten yours yet! The finalist weekend is mid-March and they send out results really quick afterwards

@will999 could you tell us the name and amount of the business scholarship you received and did you apply for it separately?
I believe it was the Sewell scholarship (20k total, 5k per year) and it came separately but no application. Also means early acceptance into B school. If you haven’t heard by now, you probably didn’t get it. @callmeisabel
@dallaspiano My Son is in the same boat as you. He got 100 K with admission and 36 K discover scholarship… He will get additional 5k NMF scholarship, but was hoping to at least get presidential scholarship invite. His Stats are ACT 36 One time SAT old 2330 (800 M 800 R 730 W) One Time , 4.0 UW GPA. No invite yet. May be they are still sending.

My son also got the Honors program invite today as well as Discovery Scholarship letter ($36,000 total). Received Distinguished Scholar with acceptance.

Son was also accepted into the University Honors program. Am I correct that they will not take any English AP Credits if you decide to accept?
Son accepted EA, Dean’s Scholarship $22.5/yr. Did not get Business Direct or BBA Scholar to Cox. Is there still a chance of getting direct admit to Cox once others who have been offered this decline? I read a post of someone who was offered Business Direct in April. Anyone have any insight?
