<p>Rarely, and it doesn't stick around for too long when it does.</p>
<p>On average, once or twice per season and it is pretty light snow.</p>
<p>You know, I was in EXACTLY the same position as you last year...being from California, I REALLY wanted to go to college some place where it snowed. I ended up choosing Duke, though not for that exact reason.</p>
<p>It did snow twice (perhaps three?) times this year. Each time I was outside and running about.</p>
<p>haha, I'm from FL and I remember that in my freshman year, I had an 8:30 lecture and went outside and saw what i thought was SNOW! I have never seen snow before then (lived in hot places all my life) so you can imagine how excited I was. Alas, I went back to my room and woke up my roommate to share in the excitement...only he's from OH and confirmed to me that it wasnt snow but rather frost. nowadays, i go to him to confirm such things :)</p>
