Man I love snowdays... especially not doing any homework and banking on one... what a rush

Haha....same here!!!

Although....I don't know why I'm inside on a snow day...I need to go sledding :)

yay snow day!!! i'm going sledding!

funny, i have no snow outside and i still got a snow day.

the ironic aspect of living in ny

it's 85 F here :(

I'm so bored.

I tried to go sledding on my steep driveway this morning- went like 1/16th and then quit.

So not fair, we never get snow days here. Almost never at least. :(

I HAD A SNOW DAY TOO! WHOOT WHOOT! I was expecting it. but nonetheless it was bliss. woke up at 5 30. saw my school on closings list. went back to sleep for 5 hours. i have 3 more days to study for bio test hell yeah biznatches.

OMG! It was snowing really hard, I slipped a few times. I saw many people slipping too. But we still had school!!! OMG! There was 2 people who showed up for my first period Spanish Class of 28 students. LOL

It was cold enough I had to wear a sweatshirt this morning, but by the afternoon it was warm enough for me to take it off... I wish it would would snow in LA every now and then, just to mix things up.

^^^ took sweater off 20 min. into first period. probably 80ish today

Its just not fair. It hasn't snowed here since I was three, and even then it was less than 6 inches.

Lucky you, I barely get to see snow. I've seen it only a few times.

It's weird that in my town there isn't much snow,
but in just 100km west there is almost 1m snow!
I can't wait to go and ski!

it never snows here.

or here. But thats fine with me - if i want snow i'll head to the mountains for a weekend :)

haha it must be weird to have never had a snow day...or in french...C'est tres bizarre! ..

lol its really not - rather, the very concept of having a day off of school due to weather is weird :)

Never had a snow day, though my home town gets plenty of snow. Snow by itself was never reason enough to close schools (only extreme cold (-40 or below with windchill), with or without blizzard conditions, or icing rain could do that).

Poopy California. It doesnt snow where I live (SF). GRRR.

Haha its kinda amusing how when it hails around here, people get reallyreallyreally excited and on AIM all the away messages are saying "OMG ITS HAILING". yeah. whereas in the east coast people would be like "..so?"
