Who here had a snow day today? If so, where do you live and how much did ya get? we got about 14 inches here (I think) in Westchester, NY.

i live just north of philly, we got 6 maybe 7 inches. its really wet snow tho, and if the tail wraps we could get another 1-3 depending.

i live in CT, we got around 4-8inches

Snow day here!

snow day! also westchester!

Oui! Just north of Philly, central Montco, got about 6 inches or so, like oboe. Ha, my brother only got a delay, so that's always fun...

Corman i cant help wondering if we happen to go to the same school haha. you said on the other thread that your district didnt announce until 630, neither did mine and for the same reason.
that would be pretty funny

Snow day. Maybe 3 or 4 inches, southern VA. I'm pretty close to WV.

Snow day for me, too, in CT. 5 or 6 inches

Oboe: I go to Abington Friends School...I thought of that too, but there are only 80 kids in my grade, and I don't think any of them play the Oboe. I've been in the same class as them since 7th grade, so I know most of my classmates pretty well. Where do you go, if you don't mind me asking?

I go to PW. with 390 kids in my grade its a distinct possibility that you could have been one of them that i dont know.

I'm from DE and we got about 5 inches here. The roads really aren't bad and we definitely could have had school, but I'm not complaining.

corman- hey, I go to Friends' Central. Quaker schools rock.

Never had a snow day where I come from. Ever.

6-8 inches of wet, wet snow here. that's on top of the foot we still had that hadn't melted yet...and another 3 inch "dusting" the week before. I havent seen my grass in literally a month and a half. it gets greyer and greyer every day...eastern mass

Northern Mass... we got like a foot and school still wasn't cancelled!!!

two-hour delay here in dc. we got an unexpected whole day off yesterday, though. it wasn't even snowing in the morning.

bad luck, we got nada here too but we didn't have to go... our superintendent is super cautious since from one high school last year, about 5 people died in all, 2 of them who could have lived if the superintendent called a snow day on a day that had alot of snow...

I can remember one snow day in my entire schooling career. I envy you guys.

Everyone thinks that it's SOOO great to live in California - always sunny, warm, etc. etc. But the thing is, you really miss WEATHER a lot. The biggest thing we get here are the once-a-year thunderstorms. The weather rarely goes below 40 or above 85. It's also hard to tell when the seasons are changing! I can't wait to go to the east coast for college - I love snow!
