so....about senior first semester grade...

for the first quarter…i got all As except one B in AP English…
but second quarter…i think i will get 1 or 2 more Bs…
1st and 2nd quarter are what the colleges will see as mid year grades…
is it gonna hurt a lot if i get 2 or 3 Bs??? i’m definitely getting a B in english again…but i may get 2 more Bs depending on how i do on tests…

<p>well, they consider your midyear grades like they consider the rest of your grades</p>

<p>Here's what you said on your chances thread:</p>

<p>"SAT1 - 780M, 610V (taken twice, highest combined)
SAT IIs - 790 2C, 740 Chem, 730 Writing
GPA - 95.3 UW top 8%...7honors, 8APs
will apply as RD to these schools
Columbia, Dartmouth, Williams, Amherst, Cornell, Upenn, Johns Hopkins, Duke, BC, Binghampton U., U. Rochester, Tufts, princeton, NYU"</p>

<p>To be honest, this looks like a slide backward. If you have a gpa of 95.3, that means that you can't have gotten too many B's before. 3 B's are going to hurt both your gpa and your class rank. </p>

<p>I'd do my best on those tests. Why risk it, if you can prevent two of those B's?</p>

<p>bump...............</p>

<p>if you're taking harder courses than before, it shouldn't hurt, and even if you aren't, I don't see it affecting much.</p>

<p>its NOt that big a deal, as long as they dont think you're slacking off</p>
