He sucks, just like every single other presidential candidate for '08....With our sluggish economy, erratic markets, poor worldwide esteem, and dishonest/awful government, this is just adding to how completely ****ed our country is.

No one in their right mind would ever want to be president of the United States. It's a no-win situation. Each candidate is just doing what he/she has to to get elected, because each is too foolish to realize how idiotic their so-called "policies" are. Too bad the American people are too dumb to know the difference.

You are 100% correct. "Policies" are completely BS. Politicians thrive on the common voter's inability to understand and make his own decisions. There hasn't been a single year where the candidates didn't suck, which is why I didn't vote at all last year.

unfortunately I am unable to accept your terms since I am allergic to stainless steel and would therefore be unable to properly wield a butcher knife in combat

hey how about you write an article on CollegeConfidential?? you're a regular on here and I'd like to see you do a piece...

that's a possibility

I think my interest in this site will have waned, though, by the time I settle into a routine -- pretty soon I'll be experiencing firsthand all the cornell happenings that I signed up to read about

ps: what do you think your specialization for the Sun will be?

no clue; hopefully I can write a little bit of everything

do articles basically go to press as-is, or are they subject to heavy-handed editorial oversight? if it's the latter, and an editor wants to change my piece, will they consult with me first, or just make the revision and send the article to print? I'm cool with getting my pieces proofread, just not with having them edited extensively w/o my approval

*to clarify, I'm not referring to poorly written, grammatically busted articles fairly deserving of revision; I'm talking about a case where, stylistically speaking, my editor doesn't see eye-to-eye w/ me
