Im voting for Ron paul in the GOP primaries. He has both common sense and integirty, 2 concepts that the rest of the field seem to be bereft of. His dad had an 8th grade education. he put himself through college, graduated medical school at Duke and did residency at Pittsburgh. He doesn't accept any PAC money, he doesn't vote down party lines. He works as an obgyn when Congress isnt in session. He never votes to spend taxpayer money on non essential things. He wants America to quit policing the world, and best of all he wants to FOLLOW THE CONSTITUTION.

There are several other threads about this, but I will say that I agree with you - I'm voting for Ron Paul as well.

Ron Paul makes me want to slit my wrists. And all his supporter's wrists. Repeatedly. Anyone who supports a wall is not mentally stable- specifically when claiming to want to lower taxes. His article "Christmas in Secular America" also infuriated me to no end. He might well be the one candidate I have no respect for- I can't support hypocrites who run on a platform claiming they are the only candidate who lacks that quality.

I'm my campus liason for Bill Richardson's campaign. I don't particularly like any of the candidates but he and Biden are the only two I would feel comfortable voting for in the primaries.

i like edwards, poverty's a big issue, but i dig obama too.

ron paul pulled in 5 million this quarter, he's out fundraising mccain

Bill Richardson doesnt strike me as very intelligent. Debating in a gay forum and answering that homosexuality is a choice is pretty stupid. I'd have know better than that around the age of 14.

we need an independent. One who can cut the crap, shut his mouth on the dumb social issues which shouldnt be issues in the first place, get us the hell out of Iraq, and not start any more wars.

I want a president whose foreign policy will be "MAKE THEM LOVE US"

Haven't found my guy yet....

ron paul is an angry old man who is on crack. i'm from texas and i'm ashamed to be from same state as him(and somewhat ashamed bush is from here). he yells and thinks everyone is stupid. he has no clue about 9/11, he is too focused on his wacky notions about our country. giuliani will crush him.

giuliani wants to stay in iraq, and said he has no problem starting another war in Iran.

While i won't deny his popularity, he basically says he wants to do what bush is doing, but just try to do it better. I think that on the national level, this will make it difficult for him to defeat the dems.

Ehh, yeah. I like Giuliani for a lot of reasons, but if he doesnt change to a "flee iraq" position, i dunno.
I like him best of republican candidates though. I looked at democrats, and i think i like Obama, but i am completely anti national health care. If you can pay, quality is better.

And im also against raising taxes so...
I mean, its ridiculous. If ur living in california, federal, state, and local taxes can end up robbing you over 50% if ur making good money.

"Bill Richardson doesnt strike me as very intelligent. Debating in a gay forum and answering that homosexuality is a choice is pretty stupid. I'd have know better than that around the age of 14."

I have a friend that chose to be gay. He never liked guys in his life, but after getting rejected from 7 girls in a row (asking them out), he was like "oh, maybe i should just become gay".

And he did. He said he kept telling himself that, and eventually, he actually started liking guys.

Kinda creepy though.

Clover: you "feel comfortable" with Biden? A man with no integrity at all? I'll never understand that. Character means nothing anymore. I'd vote for Paul over almost any of the other candidates.

We will be out of Iraq sooner than you think. I think it will begin while Bush is still in power.

Obama just announced his brilliant idea to rid the world of nuclear weapons. Man, if only someone else thought of that.

And I won't support any kind of universal health care (or baby bonds, why should I pay someone else to have a kid?)

... I'm still waiting for someone to line themselves up with my beliefs.

Obama, Edwards, Clinton. In that order. I'm not "in love" with any of the candidates this year, Democrat or Republican.

^Same...not quite sure to vote for yet...but I'm an independent so I have lots of time.

Obama is the candidate I support the most, but most likely I will vote for whatever Dem gets the nomination (can't vote in primaries). I can't say I like any of the Republican candidates.

Obama. Hands down.

My tentative support is towards Ron Paul right now, but who I vote for will obviously depend on who wins the primary. I'll take anyone over Hillary, even Guiliani if necessary.

Haven't found anyone I liked yet. Anyone wanna start an anarchy movement?

I like Ron Paul but I know there is no way he'll get enough votes... it'll be like voting for Ralph Nader.

I'll be voting for Ron Paul in the primary, and which ever Republican wins the primary (actually, I might not even vote in the national election if Paul loses).

Edwards is the biggest hypocrite. His championing for the poor and the environment rings hollow when wants Americans to give up their SUVs while he's building a 28,000 sq. ft. house and getting $400 haircuts.

Obama doesn't impress me either. How convenient for him to state he never supported the war when he wasn't in the senate at the time.

I like Guiliani or Romney.
