So close...?

So the school year has ended and I finally got my final grades for the end of the semester. I have one grade that I thought I would get an A but have a B instead. I could easily forget it except that I'm about .20 percent off from getting an A. Looking at my grade report online, it says I'm missing a homework, which I don't remember forgetting, and one participation point, either which would boost my grade enough to give me an A. Should I ask her if for compassion for boosting my grade and, if so, how? Any experiences with this kind of problem would be extremely helpful.

And yeah, I know it's not the end of the world. Except that I worked my butt off in this class. So I now have the urge to become melodramatic. And sorry for this being so long.

if you have good reason then ask your teacher to change your grade (can you do that at your school?)
good luck,

You should email the teacher. Explain to her how you "feel you worked your butt off and deserve and A."

Maybe you have that missing homework and you can scan it on to your computer.

Don't hesitate to ask. Just don't sound like you're begging for the grade.

I agree, if I was in your position I would definitely contact the teacher in some way, .20? Wow...

If you have proof of your finished hw, then by all means, show her/send her, and she'll change your grade.

Participation is a bit more difficult to argue, but hopefully telling her that you worked really hard and .20...

If you do have proof of missing hw, no problem. If you don't...I'd still try.
