So Confused :(

I'm so confused!

From what I've been reading on different posts, some say that middle school grades are counted and others say they don't.

I didn't even try in middle school because I was told they weren't important.

Help me, please!

I’m pretty sure they don’t.

Unless you are traveling to your high school to take classes, they have 0 value. I had this same question, rest assured, they hold no value in your transcript or college admissions.

What if you were taking high school courses in middle school (such as Algebra 1, Geometry and Spanish)? Would those count?

They don’t weight into your GPA anyhow, and so colleges don’t care. I would be surprised if it even got on your transcript - my 8th grade Geometry grade did, but it is clearly indicated that I took it in 8th grade and got 0 credits/weightage from it, and I think it might even be taken off by the time I apply to college. Admissions officers have enough to consider - the classes that you took 5 years ago at age 12/13 are super irrelevant.
