I am the oldest of 5 and have the chance to be the first in my family to graduate high school and go to college! I am really excited about what next year could bring but as of my junior year comes to a close I am also very worried. I got a D+ my first semester of AP calculus ab and I am getting a D+ right now with a little less than 5 weeks left in the grading period. Summer school is unfortunately not an option so I was wondering how would this grade affect my chances at a UC? (I am familiar with the UC rule of C's or better but I am not sure if that applies to classes beyond the A-G requirements) I figure that since this class is beyond alg 2 and pre-cal it wont be that "big" of a deal.

Sorry for the ramble, I guess my main question is what do i do if I retake this class again next year as a senior? Will it be "in progress" to the colleges? Since Im taking it again will they consider that?

Thanks so much for the help! It's really hard navigating through all these without help
