Yeah the question is pretty self explanatory. How long are you staying/are you planning on going? It's going to be awesome. I'm going to get back from my band trip the day before. Needless to say, I'm going to have a busy vacation :)

we're going to arrive around 4:00 PM on Friday, and leave around noon on Monday :)

oh, stay the whole time. i know a lot of current freshman who regret leaving early, so stay the entire time!!!

what kinds of activities do they have planned?

is this only for the early-decision peeps?

I think we're getting a package towards the end of January that will provide the invitation/information. Probably going to arrive sunday leave monday but I'm not entirely sure...mostly depends after I see the package.

It's pre-freshman weekend for accepted students

They don't really give you specifics on activities due to security concerns, if I remember correctly. Stay Monday if you can, so you can come to [more?] class.

May I ask what the dates are for the April visiting program for admitted seniors? I applied RD and would like to begin thinking about my spring travel plans, granting that I am admitted (knock on wood!).

The visiting program starts on Saturday, April 21st and concludes on Monday, April 23rd.

i stayed for the whole weekend last april, and it was amazing. i'd recommend staying as long as you can. :)

also, just to throw it out there, a lot of people you meet there will go on to become your friends next year. it is a lot of fun.

i agree with stevezilla. i still hang out with a few of the people i met during prefrosh weekend. i also recommend going because not only will you meet people over the weekend, but you'll also meet their roomates and other friends in the fall. this way, at least you'll have someone else to hang out with outside of your own room, just in case you don't like your roomate(s)
:)

I can only go Sunday and Monday.

Mathson will arrive Sat am and leave sometime Monday after visiting some classes. (When exactly will depend on what train schedules look like or whether I hang around and drive him back to NY area.)

Our son will spend Monday on campus looking at classes etc.; he prefers that to being in class at his HS.
