So if AIS was down tonight, could that mean that it is being updated?? Or anyone have news about full-admissions??

Hopefully so. Those of us reading this forum are pulling for all who are still waiting! Maybe the wait will result in full admission!

I emailed an admissions counselor a couple of days ago and asked when I would know if I made off waitlist or in Blinn TEAM. His reply was they were not done with either yet and would not be for a couple of weeks. Didn’t ask how many filled, open or offered.

They always act like they don’t know. But I’m pretty sure they do. I hate that it’s taking til mid freaking may to hear back come on.

A&M may be doing things different this year; but since 2008 they send out their waitlist invites then move onto Blinn team. But who am I to know what they are doing this year. They could change it up
Good luck to everyone waiting for full admissions and Blinn Team.
Gig em

Special good luck going out to TEXASBOY1613 we are praying for you!!!

Yeah good luck to all!! I am wait listed too and have been waiting since October so I really hope I get in! But I am actually on my way to A&M because my relative is graduating today, but hopefully I can talk to admissions people today too!! And also they told my mom on Tuesday or Wednesday that they would be telling us in 3-5 business days so they are just confusing everyone!!

Would 3-5 business days be the final decisions?

Yeah thats what they told my mom when she called! So hopefully that would be today or so!

Thank you very much HAHII1993 and Almosttime11!!! Appreciate it very much!

Ya I appreciate the wishes as well thanks for keeping my head up.

Hold on to hope. My daughter’s friend had her major change to general studies and degree to general studies (not Blinn team). It sounds like they might be giving out some full acceptances. It changed today.

My daughter made the Blinn team this week, after waiting what seemed like forever just like you guys. Keep the faith!

Tmd10609 - Will you let us know when Step 6 comes up for your daughter? Thanks in advance and GOOD LUCK to your daughter!! looking like some good signs are coming

Okay so I wasn’t able to go to the admissions people personally but I did talk to a counselor who said that there has been decisions made and that the 8,200 people they are wanting for the freshmen class is just about to capacity, but there is still a possibility for others to get in! And all decisions good or bad will be notified by Friday!

Does any one know if you are not accepted will that show up on your AIS or will it remain at Step 5 and then you will only receive a letter in the mail?
Thanks.

Even if you get denied you will get a step 6 and it will just say “a decision has been mailed” there will be no link to click on. In the past they send out denials at the very end of may.

thanks atm2013.
sorry but i am receiving so many messages from parents with kids accepted in the past for the blinn team or some that got notices last week… when my daughter received her ais notification it gave the list of options and she chose the wait list or the blinn team option. will she receive one or the other or could she still be rejected after all of this? there is a pdf on blinn team going around and it is a bit confusing because it is being understood to mean if those are not given full admission then they are given blinn team. sorry if this has been posted before there is just so much going on and the waiting is crazy
thanks!!!

We were told by admissions that not all students who accept Blinn TEAM consideration will be selected. We were told she would have to be selected from the pool of those who marked yes to that option.

Therefore, some students would be rejected.

We made a full back up plan for her to attend another university. Thank goodness she was selected for Blinn Team on Tuesday, so we have now cancelled everything with the other college and accepted Blinn Team.

thanks tmd10609.
back when she accepted the wait list and the blinn team options she went ahead and applied to blinn. she had other universities wanting her but really wants TAMU.
CONGRATS to your daughter!!! i believe an earlier poster said he was up at the TAMU graduation and spoke to a counselor and they said by this friday so we will keep the faith :-)

When I applied to a&m in 2009 some of my friends were offered the option of Blinn Team. A step 6 had come up “the respond to admissions decision”. These girls were never offered a spot on the wait list, only blinn team. I think most people who were offered both the wait list and the blinn team option have a good chance of getting in. Good luck!
