So help with Summer FinAid

<p>You don’t pay until classes start.</p>

<p>I called the summer sessions office about that and they said that you don’t need to pay until April 15th, and there’s a late fee after that. Can anyone confirm?</p>

<p>It should take care of itself if you are on financial aid, and taking 6 units (it did for me, anyways).</p>

<p>However, there is this quirk:</p>

<p>2010 Campus Fees</p>

<p>“UC students from all UC campuses, except UC Berkeley, who are receiving financial aid from your home campus will not be required to make a full payment of fees at the time of application. However, you will be required to pay a minimum of $150 towards your total fee at the end of the application process in order to confirm your registration.”</p>

<p>If you are eligible for financial aid, you still have to pay the $150 fee for registering. The financial aid for the summer will pay for your units if you are eligible.</p>

<p>I am a student here though. So no 150 for me. Do I have to pay the campus fee right now though ($115) or is that taken care of through finaid too?</p>

<p>From what I am looking at, the $115 has to be paid immediately, so that would not be taken care of by financial aid. Better call the FAO to make sure.</p>

<p>Not that it really matters for me because I already paid my full fees, with full hope that I’ll get it refunded…
…but say I’m in a situation where my financial aid may change. My older brother is graduating from college this May, and I’m not sure if that will alter my eligibility to receive aid…makes me worry. I wish they would let us register and pay later, after we’re sure of what aid we’ll receive.</p>
